Exclusive for Podcrashers:

On September 7, 2011, members of the Russian hockey team, Lokomotiv, boarded Yak-Service Flight 9633 for Belarus to kick off a promising new season. But within seconds, the plane struggles to become airborne before it tragically stalls and crashes. And when it did, it wiped out the entire Lokomotiv hockey team and management staff. In this Patreon-only episode of Take to the Sky: The Air Disaster Podcast, Shelly walks us through an investigation that uncovered a troubled airline, unqualified pilots, and a disaster that seemed almost too inconceivable to be true.
